What’s New in September 2026

The highlights this September, plus the full changelog.

Three headline features shipped this month, alongside updates across the plan library, the athletes page and custom zones. The full changelog follows the highlights.

The Training Arc

The Training Arc takes the macrocycle and makes it easier to build, adjust and read at a glance. Set it up around a goal race, or around an athlete you want to develop over the coming weeks and months, and the Arc lays out the blocks that get them there. Volume is tracked against it on the calendar week by week, so you can see at any point whether an athlete is running to plan or drifting off it, and when something shifts you can adjust the arc so it reflects where the athlete actually is.

Automatic Threshold Detection

EndoGusto now reads an athlete’s uploaded training for signs that their thresholds have moved and flags it when it finds one. The change is yours to make: you see what was detected and either accept it or decline it, so the values behind zones and load stay current without anything shifting behind your back.

Notes, Fully Updated

Notes can now be saved to your library and reused anywhere on the calendar, so recurring session briefs and reminders are written once rather than retyped. Files can be attached to them, keeping supporting material with the workout it belongs to. A note can also be hidden from your athlete’s view, which makes it just as useful for your own reminders as for anything you want them to read.

And a bit more

There’s plenty else in this release: Jack Daniels’ VDOT in custom zones, folders in the plan library, customizable and sortable columns on the athletes page including threshold values, replies to comment and note emails straight from your inbox, and automatic plan library updates for businesses that opt in. Athletes can also now sign up on their own. The full notes are on the site.

Coming soon

We’re already working on the next round of the Training Arc, shaped by what coaches have asked us for since launch. Stay tuned as we are moving fast and furious to finish the year out as strong as the athletes you train!
