July 2026 – What’s New

Every month, EndoGusto gets a little faster, a little smarter, and a little easier to coach with. This month, one release stands above the rest, and we could not be more excited to put it in your hands.

Our new training load algorithm is live. When external load is measured reliably and the same way across swim, bike, and run, seeing how each athlete responds to that load gets far easier. A clean, comparable number is the foundation the rest of your coaching builds on. What you read into it, and what you do next, is where you come in. It also lays the groundwork for building smarter, more personalized coaching advice down the road.

Alongside it, July brings new annual subscription options and a library that is ready to coach from on day one. Here are the three releases that matter most this month.

ECOs: Load That Works Across Every Sport

ECOs training load scored across swim, bike, and run in EndoGusto

Training stress now runs on ECOs across every sport. Swim, bike, and run all score on one 8-zone scale, so a week that mixes all three adds up to a number you can compare week over week.

ECOs is built on the peer-reviewed work of sports scientists Cardona, Cejuela, and Esteve-Lanao, who have spent the last decade working with elite triathletes in Spain. Their model treats each sport on its own terms rather than flattening swim, bike, and run into one generic figure. A hard swim and a hard run do not cost the athlete the same thing, and now your load numbers reflect that.

It scores the sessions your athletes complete, so you get a consistent, science-backed read on load as the week unfolds. For the full breakdown of the model and the science behind it, read our ECOs Training Load Explained article.

Annual Plans, at a Discount

Discounted annual subscription plans in EndoGusto.

Competitor, Professional, and Elite tiers now offer annual billing at a lower rate. One decision, a full year of coaching, and less to think about at renewal.

Ready-Made Plans in Your Library

Ready-made triathlon and strength plans in the EndoGusto library.

Default triathlon and strength plans now come seeded into your library, ready to assign. A new athlete can have real structure on day one instead of starting from an empty calendar. More workouts and plans are on the way, so you spend less time building out your library and more time coaching.

What Else Shipped

Beyond these three, July’s release includes a rebuilt infinite-scroll calendar, per-step distance units in the Workout Builder, a %HRmax option for cycling heart-rate zones, a more secure Garmin connection, and a run of fixes across the platform. The full list is in the changelog below.

Coming Up: Rebuilding the Macrocycle Tool

Our next major build is a full rebuild of the macrocycle tool, from the ground up.

The idea is planning that works with the time you actually have. Whether a race is twenty weeks out or just three, or an athlete simply needs a base, build, peak, recovery structure, the tool flexes to the reality in front of you.
