About EndoGusto

EndoGusto is an endurance coaching platform that gives triathlon and running coaches the tools to manage more athletes without losing what makes coaching personal: the relationship, the judgment, the human touch.

Our belief is simple: technology should amplify great coaches, not replace them. We’re building a modern, affordable alternative to legacy platforms so that more athletes can access real coaching and more coaches can grow sustainable businesses doing what they love.

EndoGusto is backed by Starttech Ventures, a venture builder with a track record of producing some of Greece’s most successful scaleups (the industry-leading Epignosis and Yodeck). Working at a Starttech-backed company combines the upside, autonomy, and fast pace of startups with the security, resources, and guidance of a scaleup.

What EndoGusto Is Building

Coaches build training programs, manage athletes, and analyze activities, with data flowing in from multiple fitness trackers (Garmin, Strava, Polar, Suunto, and more). The hard problems are real and varied:

  • A workout builder and training calendar that have to feel instant under heavy interaction.
  • A growing tracker-integration layer (OAuth, webhooks, reconciliation) where every partner behaves differently.
  • A periodization layer spanning macro- and microcycles, with dense, data-heavy pages that have to stay fast no matter how far out a coach is planning.
  • An analytics engine where training load, stress scores, and recovery curves shape real decisions. Displaying the wrong number is a real risk to real athletes.
  • And the open questions: native mobile, a real-time coach-to-athlete communication layer, health metrics, a coach directory, and where AI fits into coaching.

What You’ll Do

  • Ship features end to end, from idea to production, and keep owning them after they’re live.
  • Build the product coaches use every day: the workout builder, training calendar, athlete dashboards, payments, and messaging.
  • Work on the systems underneath: tracker integrations and the analytics engine that turns athletic data into training load, stress, and performance metrics.
  • Work with large volumes of athletic data across a performance-sensitive stack, where things have to stay fast under real load.
  • Help shape what comes next: new product surfaces, the tracker and partner ecosystem, and where AI fits into coaching.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years building and shipping production full-stack web apps.
  • Strong on either the frontend or the backend, and comfortable enough on the other side to work across the full stack. We use React with TypeScript and Go.
  • Genuinely excited about the problem space and the people you’re building for.
  • Comfortable with PostgreSQL, including schema design and writing efficient queries.
  • Comfortable with non-trivial logic: algorithms, time-based data, and calculations where correctness matters.
  • Detail-oriented when it matters: edge cases, error handling, and sensitive data.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership: from a rough brief all the way through to production and beyond.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with third-party integrations, async jobs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience building complex, data-heavy interfaces that have to stay fast and responsive.
  • Has worked at an early-stage startup before.
  • Hands-on experience with production infrastructure on AWS.
  • Trains as an athlete, ideally in endurance sports.

Comp & Benefits

  • Stock options
  • Competitive base pay (€34,000–€40,000 gross per year).
  • Daily meal vouchers.
  • Support for parents.
  • Private healthcare coverage.
  • Budget for your personal development.

  • Personalized training: on-site yoga, fitness sessions, and custom programs.
